Frequently Asked Questions & Policies
I have never had a professional massage. What can I expect?
The day before your first visit, you will be asked to complete an online intake form that asks questions about your general health, specific injuries and whether you are under a doctor’s care.
At your appointment, your therapist may ask you pre-session questions to provide a safe customized massage for you. This is also a great time for you to ask your therapist any questions you may have.
You will be given instructions on how to lay on the table. You will be given privacy while you undress. Typically, you will start face down with your body entirely covered with a sheet and blanket. You will be asked to remove any jewelry and watches so that they do not interfere with the massage. We play relaxing music during the session. If there is some particular music or sounds you would like please feel free to ask or bring your own device with an auxiliary input.
Your session may include a post session follow up and/or self-care suggestions to better enhance your customized massage session.
Do I have to remove my clothes?
Table massages in our offices with cream or oil require you to remove your clothing. What you remove depends upon your comfort level and whether or not you are receiving a full body massage or treatment to a specific area. We use professional draping techniques and only uncover the area that is being worked on at that time. Workplace Chair Massages are typically done fully clothed.
What are some landmarks to help me locate your offices?

Is your office handicapped accessible?
Unfortunately at this time both our locations are not handicapped accessible.
Do you massage children?
Yes, children can benefit from massage as much as adults do. We treat your child with the utmost care and respect.
*State licensing requires a parent to be present in the room during the massage for anyone under 18 years old.
Can I shower after my massage?
Unfortunately, we do not have facilities for showering.
Is there any special preparation on my part before or after my massage?
While there is no preparation that is needed before your massage it would be very helpful if you allow yourself to relax during your massage. It is also recommended that you drink lots of water the day of your massage. Sometimes lack of hydration can lead to muscle soreness the next day.
